RETURNING CORE
-Apr 27 2010

One of the most important pieces to the puzzle for any Junior Hockey team is core returning players.  With 12 players going off to college next season the Jr. Wolfpack have re-load their roster and they have started with some key returning players.  Goalie Bryan Haude has committed to return for another season in CT, Haude a 2 year all-star in the AJHL looks to continue his solid play for the Pack.  Forwards Sean Loebs, Seric Kapp and Elijah Cohen are also set to return as part of the offensive threat.  The Jr. Wolfpack will be happy to also have speedy forward Steve Carlette back for next season, Carlette played in just 18 games last season due to an early injury and was never able to recover.  So far on the blue line the Jr. Pack will return future UConn Huskie Mike Novella and crafty veteran d-man Derek Giansanti, both are solid in the dzone and will be looked upon to log a lot of minutes next season.  "We have some good returning guys, we have added some good new players and we are waiting on a few others.  We feel we are going to be good at the back end, we wanted to make sure we were solid between the pipes and than on the blue line and we feel we have improved already with this core of players and the new players. It is hard to rebuild a team every season because of the amount of players we send to college but it is a good problem to have.  I am looking forward to working with all of our future and returning players," said Chris Cerrella.
