COLLEGE COMMITMENT
-Jul 08 2010

Petr Soustal had quite a journey when he moved to the United States to attend college and play hockey.  The Czech Republic native moved to CT with the hopes of playing Div I hockey for the Quinnipiac Bobcats in the ECAC.  That is when Chris Cerrella received information from his alumni that there was a 6'3 forward looking for a place to play hockey while he attended Quinnipiac as a International Student.  Soustal came to the Jr. Wolfpack with the hopes of playing college hockey some where in the 2010-11 season and that dream has come true.  Finishing his freshman year at Quinnipiac the 3.8 GPA student will take his grades and his over a point a game for the Jr. Pack (15gp 9g 8a) to St. Michaels College who are part of the tough ECAC East college hockey league.  "Petr battled all season, he was hoping to play hockey at Quinnipiac but it did not work out.  However he is very excited about playing college hockey and and attending St. Mike's.  He is a very good student and I think he is going to have a good year on and off the ice for St. Mike's.  It is a great fit and we wish him the best of luck," said Chris Cerrella.  Soustal had a great experience playing for the Jr. Wolfpack and made some great friends in his first year in the United States.  He will now fulfill his dream of playing college hockey and be able to graduate from a strong academic institution.
