The Jr. Wolfpack Futures have another good showing at a summer tournament event.  After going 2-1 in the Midget Minor Hub Cup the Futures went into the 1994 and 1995 Jr. Chowder Cup looking to have another succesful weekend.  And they did just that, The 1994 team went 2-1 on the weekend getting beat out of the playoffs by process of tournament playoff rule elimination as they lost their first game but won two back to back games.  The 1995 team went 0-3 on the weekend but battled against some very strong teams one from Kingston, Ontario.  Over all it was another good weekend for the Jr. Wolfpack Futures Summer teams.  "Both teams battled very hard all weekend.  Even in the games we lost the kids played hard and learned a lot, that is the point of summer hockey.  I was please with the weekend," said Mark Yates former staff member of Umass Lowell college hockey team and the new Asst Coach for the Jr Wolfpack.  The Jr. Wolfpack Futures will be having more events in the upcoming summer months for more information please email one of the coaching staff members.  "Summer hockey is a time to develop and get that extra ice time.  It prepares you for December and January when the season is one the line.  We have had some good success and we look to keep that rolling in our next few summer events," said Chris Cerrella.
