Mike Tenney

Mike is a native of Langhorne, Pa and has been in coaching for 14 years, the last 9 of which have been in Junior Hockey. Over the course of his coaching career Tenney has also been involved with the USA Hockey Festival program at the State, District and National levels. Coach Tenney has had over 60 players move to college and professional hockey.

Christopher Beaudoin 

Director of Player Advancement, Jr. Elite Head Coach


Chris Beaudoin spent the last 4 season as an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator with the Western New England University men’s ice hockey program from 2014-2018, after serving as a volunteer role at Fermi/Enfield High School in Enfield, Conn.

A 2011 graduate of Western New England, Beaudoin played forward and was a member of the Golden Bears hockey program before an injury in his senior year ended his collegiate career. He earned his bachelor’s degree in communication.

Prior to WNE, Beaudoin played junior hockey with the Springfield Jr. Pics and graduated from Fermi High School, where he earned all-state and -conference honors.

David Cross    

Director of Player Development, U16 Head Coach


Coach Cross grew up on Long Island, he honorably served in the United States Air Force, all the while playing hockey  (Bitburg Blades), as well as at a semi pro level in Germany. 

Upon the completion of his military service, he remained in Germany to play professionally in the DEL and other semi professional leagues. 
His first experience coaching came in 1995, while playing for EHC Waldkraiburg.  From 1995 till 1998, while still an active player, Dave attended multiple coaching courses and seminars through the Deutsche Eishockey Bund. 
Since returning to the US, he has coached at the U14, U16 and U18 levels, with the PAL Junior Islanders and Long Island Royals. Coach Cross is a certified Level 4 Coach with USA Hockey, who brings a passion for teaching all aspects of the game. He has guided many student-athletes toward college hockey and productive career paths. Coach Cross, looks forward to the challenge of developing student-athletes that can progress through the Hartford Junior Wolfpack organization and on to higher levels of competition. 



Ryan Hatch

Goalie Coach/ Asst. Coach U16 and Jr.

Coach Hatch has an extensive playing background begining with playing goalie at Mount St. Charles in Rhode Island for legendary coach Bill Belisle. He then went on to play Junior hockey in the NAHL before attending Canicius College (NCAA DI). After a brief stint at Canicius, Coach Hatch finished his college career at Salem St. University (NCAA DIII).  Coach Hatch has previously coached in the Walpole Express organization as well as being the RBHockey goaltenders coach.



Craig Millard
Associate Head Coach Lady Wolfpack

In 2012, Coach Millard played an integral role in recruiting and re-establishing the U16 program for the Junior Wolfpack organization.  He has also been the Assistant Coach for the U16 team for the past two seasons.   Today, there are a half a dozen athletes playing on the Junior B Team from the U16 Team that Coach Millard helped to recruit and coach.  Prior to the Junior Wolfpack, he spent 7 years in both Head  and Assistant coaching roles within the Whaler organization.  Whether it’s playing or coaching, Craig has been actively involved with hockey for over 30 years. At the youth level, he played hockey in both Massachusetts and in Upstate NY and Canada. Later in his career he played junior and high school hockey throughout the Southern NY, CT, MA, and NJ region.  Former ECAC Player of the Year in football, he graduated from Cortland State University where he played both Club hockey and D3 football. After college, Craig played hockey in the NY/Long Island area in the Industrial League for 2 seasons and was the Assistant Coach for a youth program alongside former NY Islander, Gerry Hart. Besides coaching hockey, Craig has been very active with sports in Connecticut, he was Assistant Coach for the 12u Connecticut Eliminators in 2009, he is a former Board Member and co-founder of the HK Youth Football League where he also served as Assistant Coach for 3 years. He is also an Assistant Coach for his daughter’s 10U Polar Bear hockey team.

Coaching hockey is Craig’s passion in life – “through sports- especially hockey, young men and women develop the necessary foundation for life – discipline and practice, self-development – both physically and mentally, teamwork, setting and achieving individual and team goals, learning how to compete and of course, knowing how to win and lose with character. Coaching the Jr Wolfpack U16 and the Lady Jr Wolfpack gives me the tremendous opportunity and responsibility to develop these athletes, one player at a time. My singular focus is preparing them for the next level of their hockey career- both on and off the ice.” Craig is Level IV USA Hockey coaching certified.


CJ Kenney
Head Coach Lady Wolfpack/Director of Player Personnel

CJ Kenney is joining the Jr. Lady Wolfpack after two seasons as Assistant Coach for the Girls' Varsity Ice Hockey Team at Kingswood-Oxford School alongside Coach John Hissick. The Wyverns competed vigilantly in the prestigious Founders League and the New England Prep School Athletic Conference, always maintaining a clear focus on player and program development. At the collegiate level, CJ was a member and captain of the UMass Amherst ACHA Division I Women's Ice Hockey Program, which boasted four ACHA National Championship Tournament appearances, including two trips to the semi final round. A career defenseman with experience at center during her senior year with the UMass Minutewomen, CJ has a passion for teaching the importance of thinking critically about the game and ensuring that holistic decision making and skill development are targeted focus areas for her players. CJ is also an alumna of the Charles River Girls Hockey Program in Brookline, MA.
