For over 20 years, Lisette Rodrigues has been working with children and families. She is a certified school Social Worker who is employed at New Britain High School. She received her BA in Child Psychology from Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, CT and MSW from UCONN School of Social Work in West Hartford, CT. She began her therapeutic career at Child Guidance Clinic in Meriden, CT, where she earned her spot as the Latino Coordinator. After five years, she pursued her certification in school social work and achieved her dream of working in the school system.
In 2012, in order to expand and develop a new skill set, Lisette became the liaison for the Trio organization as a University Assistant. Trio is an educational talent search program at Central Connecticut State University that offers support and guidance for students to complete high school and continue their education in college. She has provided and assisted with career competencies courses, SAT preparation classes and overall exposure to educational opportunities and options.
Lisette is a native of Connecticut and a proud mother of two teenage boys. She has been a committed hockey mom since her boys took the ice at age three. The Hartford Jr Wolfpack organization has been a tremendous resource and training ground for her goalie son Chris and is honored to be a part of such a distinguished well regarded organization.
